If you want to become an expert diver in Menorca, our PADI Open Water course in Addaia is tailor-made for beginners, offering an immersive and complete introduction to the world of diving. Furthermore, no previous experience is necessary.

Throughout this course, which usually lasts 3 days, you will acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to become a certified PADI Open Water Diver and to dive to 18 meters. It is a two-part adventure, comprising theoretical learning and practical training sessions. We guarantee you an unforgettable experience while discovering the hidden treasures of Addaia's fascinating underwater kingdom: sea bream and octopus are waiting for you!

The PADI Open Water qualifies you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 feet
- Plan and execute dives with a certified buddy
- Rent or buy diving equipment in dive centres worldwide

Programme
- eLearning:
Once the booking is completed, we will send you all further instruction to access the PADI elearning portal. We recommend you completing the necessary modules before the start of the course, but you can also complete them at the same time. Then, you can move straight on to the practical part of your scuba diving experience.
- Kick-off:
We will meet you directly at our Addara's office. If you come by car, there are free car parks nearby. Once at the dive center, you will pick up your equipment and change clothes. Depending on the weather conditions, we will most likely do exercises in the pool before starting the open water dives. We will do a total of 4 dives: you can do 1 or 2 dives per day, depending on your flexibility.
