These kids ski lessons for beginners between 6 and 10 years are ideal for your little ones to make their first steps on skis and start their first skiing adventure.
We offer courses at Rinderkopf in Torfhaus, the Sonnenberg ski area, and Wurmberg in Braunlage. These spots are perfect for beginners, especially Wurmberg with the "Hexenwiese" practice slope. It also has a t-bar lift called "Hexenritt" and the "Hexenexpress," a 4-seater chairlift.
Your little ones get to learn to ski with us in small groups of up to 8 kids, making sure they have a fun and safe learning environment. They will learn how to properly use their equipment, how to start and stop safely, as well as skiing in plough. Our trained and friendly ski instructors use child-friendly techniques, making your kids' first experience on the slopes fun and memorable.
Meeting point
We meet 30 minutes before the course starts at the ski school flag at the Sonnenberg carpark. Please have your booking confirmation ready to show before the lesson begins.
Ski pass
All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the course. You can buy the ski pass at the respective lift station.
Good to know
In case the minimum number of 4 participants is not reached, the duration of the lesson will be adapted or shortened.

My younger daughter (6) isn't one to easily trust just anyone, but she and the two older ones (8 and 10) settled in well.
The instructor on the second day was especially praised – it's understandable that the first day is less exciting for complete beginners than when you already have some experience on the second day, but she did a wider variety of exercises with the children.
And overall, I have to say I'm amazed at how much you can learn in two 2.5-hour sessions: The children arrived as complete beginners and are now confidently skiing down the slopes in turns. Fantastic!
