Kids Ski Lessons (4-12 y.) for All Levels - Winter Camp - Megève

What to Expect

Our ski lessons in Megève are designed for children aged 4 to 12, from first-timers to those already comfortable skiing on green and easy blue slopes. With an age-appropriate approach, we help them gain confidence while discovering the basics of skiing in a relaxed and supportive setting. Depending on their level, instructors work on skills such as controlling speed and turning in snowplough, maintaining balance and edge control, making smooth turns on green and blue slopes, and progressively developing parallel skiing and elementary carved turns.

The slopes around the Jaillet provide a calm environment for learning, with quiet beginner areas and plenty of room to practise at their own pace. After a morning on skis, the day continues with outdoor activities that let children explore the mountain in a playful way. Snowshoe walks, igloo building, sledging, treasure hunts, and similar activities keep the afternoons varied and enjoyable.

Lessons take place in small groups of up to 7 children, creating a friendly atmosphere where everyone receives personal attention and develops steadily throughout the week. At the end of the course, every child who completes a level receives a booklet and a medal to recognise their progress and celebrate their achievement.

Meeting Time

We meet at our office, near the Novotel Hotel, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Lunch Care

During the lunch break from 12:00 to 14:00, our instructors will be happy to take care of your kids. A delicious meal is also included.

Ski Pass

The ski pass is free for children under 5 years old, but it must be collected at the ski lift ticket office before the first lesson. All participants need a valid ski pass from the first day of the lessons, which can be purchased at the ski lift ticket office or online in advance.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• If you have food restrictions or allergies, please contact the ski school in advance, so we can arrange a meal according to your diet

• The maximum group size is 7 participants per group

• The schedule of the day may change depending on the slope conditions
