Meet us 15 minutes in advance at our surfing school. The metro ride from the city center to Matosinhos takes approximately 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can easily access us by bus, just a 3-4 minute walk from the school, or by car where you will find both free and paid parking. Upon arrival, you will receive a warm welcome at our stand, at the beach before being outfitted with equipment tailored to your age and skill level. Then, your instructor will lead you to the beach for an exciting surfing session.

I had two private lessons and had a really great experience.
What I appreciated most were two things. First, the instructors are very good at noticing the small details in your surfing and giving you simple but extremely useful tips. Sometimes it’s just a small piece of advice or a little correction, but it can really help you understand what you are doing wrong and make progress.
The second thing I really appreciated is that they are not limited to Matosinhos. Depending on your level and the conditions, they can move along the coast to find the best spot for that particular day.
A perfect example was one of my lessons: Matosinhos was completely flat and, honestly, I didn’t think we would find good waves anywhere nearby. Instead, they took me to another spot further north, where we found really good waves that were perfect for my level. It completely changed the session.
For me, this flexibility, together with the quality of the coaching, makes a big difference. I would definitely recommend them, especially to surfers who already have some experience and want to improve.
