Get started with scuba diving now with our PADI Open Water course, specially designed for beginners! Discover the secrets of dive equipment and master essential techniques with our expert instructors while exploring the stunning Agios Nikolaos Bay.
Our theoretical classes and 4 sea dives, available from the age of 10, will allow you to obtain a certification that will open the doors to waters worldwide. Choose between an intensive 3-day course or an extended 5-day program to dive at your own pace. Throughout your learning journey, you'll have the opportunity to explore the wonders of the Cretan coast, perhaps even encountering the majestic grouper!The PADI Open Water Diver Course qualifies you to:
- Dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters/60 feet
- Plan and execute dives with a certified buddyProgramme
After completing the booking, you will have the choice between eLearning and on-site theory lecture.
- eLearning:
If you choose the eLearning option, we will send you access to the online study programme which you will need to complete before the course start date. On the first day of your course, all you need to do is present the confirmation you received from the eLearning platform to prove that you have passed the theoretical part of the course. You will then be able to go straight to the practical part with your instructor.
- On-site theory lecture:
If you choose the option of taking the theory course on site, you will learn all about scuba diving theory in a classroom at the dive centre with one of our instructors after your practical applications.
- Kick-off:
We'll welcome you to our diving club, or if you prefer, we can arrange a free-of-chargepickup service from your hotel in Agios Nikolaos that will be arranged after completed booking. Our training begins with theoretical sessions and dives in a protected area from the shore, where our experienced instructor will guide you through the basics of diving. Once the fundamentals are mastered, we will embark on our boat to explore various carefully selected dive sites. There, you will enjoy an underwater exploration lasting approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour per dive. You have the choice between a more or less intensive training program, lasting 3 to 5 days, depending on your availability and level.Course content
