PADI Scuba Diver Course for Beginners in Latchi

Become a certified diver with our PADI Scuba Diver course in Latchi. This two-day course is designed for beginners with no experience, starting from 10 years old, as you'll learn from scratch how to dive, from theory to practice. Our PADI instructors will take you diving in the best areas along the coast of Akamas Natural Park. The course is completed over 1 to 2 days, diving to a depth of up to 12 meters.

Programme
- eLearning:
If you choose the e-learning option, we will send you the access details to the online study programme which you will complete before the start date of your course. On the first day of your course, just come down to the dive centre and show us the confirmation slip you received from the e-learning platform to show us that you have successfully completed the theoretical part of the PADI Open Water Diver course. Then, you can move straight on to the practical part of your scuba diving experience.
- On-site theory lecture:
Our lecture begins 9am, where we will introduce you to the basic knowledge and theory behind scuba diving. The theory is divided 3 chapters, including a video and a manual. At the end of each of the lesson, you will have to undertake a multiple-choice test to overcome the theory part of the course.
- Kick-off:
We meet at our dive center in Latchi harbour 30 minutes before the start of the course. You can find free parking space and paid car parks near our center. After a lunch break and theory lesson, we start with confined water training. Your instructor will show you the basic skills, and you get to you know your diving equipment. We first start to teach you to dive in a swimming pool or in shallow water from the beach, as it offers a safe and controlled learning environment. A total of 3 confined water dives to prepare for you open water dives. The next day will be dedicated to 2 dives on open waters up to 12 meters deep together with your instructor for a perfect ending of your course.
