What to Expect

Join us for an unforgettable day trip by bus to discover the enchanting southern coast of Crete, starting with Preveli Beach. According to legend, the mythological king Odysseus paused here on his journey to Ithaka. Preveli is renowned for its breathtaking palm forest and the river that winds from a gorge into the sea. This area is now a protected natural reserve under Natura 2000.

Next, we head to the historic Kourtaliotiko Gorge, which served as a natural fortress for ancient Minoans and a medieval trade route. Today, it is a sought-after spot for hiking, rock climbing, and photography, while preserving its cultural heritage. The gorge offers stunning landscapes and a glimpse into Crete's rich history.

Finally, we visit Damnoni Beach, a serene bay near Plakias, approximately 35 km south of Rethymno. With its pristine white sand and turquoise waters, Damnoni offers a tranquil and relatively uncrowded retreat, framed by mountains and rock formations. Pick Up

If you want to use our pick up service from around the area, please let us know after completing the booking. We will pick you up at a designated point at or very near to your accommodation at the scheduled pickup time. Note that the pick up is for free for the area of Chania. If you are located outside this area, a surcharge may apply and must be paid on site. At the end of the trip, we will go back to our starting point, and if you used our pick up service, you will be dropped off at the pick up point.
