Guided Dive from Formentera for Certified Divers

Explore the underwater wonders of the Island and its beauty with our guided dive in Formentera for certified divers. Encounter the diverse underwater life of the natural reserve of the Balearic Islands: from colourful fishes to majestic sea turtles, corals reefs and more. If you hold an Open Water Dive Certification or any certification above that, this trip is ideal for you! Join us and discover the hidden treasures such as ancient shipwrecks and fascinating underwater formations, you will not know where to look. The Mediterranean Sea has numerous dive sites, that cater to divers of all skill levels and that has easy access from the coast, most of them are just waiting to be explored. Depending on your certification, you can dive up to 35 meters, in groups of 4 to 6, with one of our certified instructors.

Dive area
With our selection of 10 dive sites, ensuring there's something for everyone! We carefully select each location based on weather conditions, your diving certification, and your preferences. From the Balearic Islands' diverse dive spots, ranging from 3 to 35 meters deep, accessible within a short 10-minute boat ride, you will encounter a captivating underwater world teeming with rich marine life and vibrant flora. Dive into the depths and uncover hidden gems like the "La Mariana", a floating platform used as a nursery, who sank in 1996, or the "Florit Brothers" the 30 m wooden fishing boat, that sank in 1994 but is still well-preserved in the sandy bottom.

Programme
We meet at our dive centre, located in the Insotel Club Maryland 15 minutes before the booked time. There is paid parking nearby. Upon arrival, each diver must fill out a medical self-disclosure form during check-in and present their certification. Gear will be provided, and after a detailed briefing on equipment usage, an activity overview will be given. You will be grouped based on experience, and you will be put in ''buddy teams'' based on experience level. We will then head to our diving spot by boat and once in the diving site, there, you'll descend into the water with your instructor guiding you, ready for an unforgettable underwater adventure.

During the diving trip, we will be doing 2 dives, and you can expect a total diving time of 60 minutes or 50 bar per dive. The group size per guide is limited to a maximum of 6 participants, or 4 when less experienced. Our dive spots are selected based on weather conditions and the participants' experience level. However, we're always open to accommodating your wishes. Normally, there are around 60 minutes between dives.

Good to know
- If you wear prescription glasses, you need to be comfortable wearing contact lenses
- You must fill out a medical self-disclosure form upon arrival
- There is a restaurant at the diving centre
- You should not fly within the next 24 hours after the dive
