What to Expect

Come on board the great Catamaran Picardie II for a boat tour along the coast of the Camargue! Our journey will begin with a departure from Le Grau-du-Roi, a charming fishing port that deals as a picturesque start to our adventure. As we glide across the calm waters, you will have the chance to relax on the sunbeds in the front, or enjoy the cool comfort of the air-conditioned indoor space. Our first highlight will be the historic town of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, renowned for its Church of the Fortresses and its unique lighthouse.

Continuing our trip, we will pass by the vibrant Port of Sète, a bustling harbour known for its lively atmosphere and seafood delights. As we cruise further, we will reach the pristine stretches of Espiguette Beach, that you will be able to admire from our boat. Our next stop will showcase the striking Pyramids of La Grande-Motte, modern architectural wonders that rise from the coastline, offering a perfect photo opportunity. As we will head towards the end of our journey, we will approach the iconic Lighthouse of Palavas-les-Flots, a landmark that has guided sailors for generations.

The catamaran itself is equipped with a unique window in one of the floats, allowing you to also observe the marine life beneath the waves and not only what happens above them. This boat tour is ideal for everyone interested in discovering and learning something more about the beautiful region of the Camargue.

We meet at the port of Le Grau-du-Roi, 20 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find paid and free car parks nearby.
