Sunset Boat Trip to Fort Boyard from La Rochelle

End the day on a high note with our sunset boat trip to Fort Boyard from La Rochelle. This fascinating excursion begins at the old port of La Rochelle, where you can admire its famous towers while boarding one of our spacious and comfortable boats. As you leave the channel, you will pass the impressive port of Les Minimes and the Bout du Monde lighthouse, straight out of a Jules Verne book.

You will then head for the Pertuis d'Antioche, the strait off the coast of La Rochelle that offers breathtaking views of the islands of Ré, Aix and Oléron bathed in the early evening light. Fort Boyard, one of the Charente-Maritime's iconic sites, will be next. We know it from the famous game show, but do you know its original purpose? Throughout the tour, historical and cultural facts will be provided in English so you can also learn some anecdotes about the area. Then, after around 2 hours, it will be time to head back to La Rochelle.

How to get there
We meet 30 minutes before departure at our pier in the old port of La Rochelle. If you are coming by car, there are paid car parks nearby. At the end of the excursion, you will return to the departure point.
