Round Trip Ferry from La Rochelle to the Île de Ré with Stopover

Spend a day on the idyllic Île de Ré with our round-trip ferry from La Rochelle. You will embark at the foot of La Rochelle's famous towers and after passing under the bridge linking the island to the mainland, you will get your first taste of its wild landscapes as you sail along its coastline. After around 1 hour's sailing, you will disembark in Saint-Martin-de-Ré.

Take advantage of the day to discover the island at your own pace. A visit to the charming port of Saint-Martin is a must, with its citadel and fortifications. Don't miss the famous Baleines lighthouse at the end of the island, with its breathtaking sea views. You can also hire bikes to explore Ré thanks to its 110 km of cycling trails. And don't forget the many beaches that invite you to laze around and the culinary specialities you can sample from local producers (oyster farmers, winemakers) or in the restaurants. At the end of the day, you will board in Saint-Martin-de-Ré and return to La Rochelle after a 1-hour crossing.

How to get there
We meet 30 minutes before departure at our pier next to the Michel-Crépeau multimedia library. If you are coming by car, there are paid car parks nearby. At the end of the excursion, you will return to the departure point.
