What to Expect

Travel from Marrakech to Fez over 3 days and explore the hidden treasures of the region, spending your nights in local places, while admiring the landscape on camelback and aboard our van. Your adventure begins with a pickup at your accommodation in Marrakech. The first day involves a scenic drive through the majestic High Atlas Mountains, culminating at Tizi n'Tichka, the highest mountain pass in Morocco. Marvel at the panoramic vistas of valleys and peaks before visiting the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, renowned for its historic kasbahs and film appearances. Proceed through the Valley of the Roses, famous for its fragrant flora, for an overnight stay at a local hotel.

Day two ventures into the expansive Sahara Desert, with highlights including a drive through the awe-inspiring Todra Gorge and a camel ride amidst the golden sand dunes. Experience the serene ambiance of the desert as evening falls, culminating in a traditional dinner under the starlit sky at a desert camp.

On the final day, visit Erfoud, known for its distinctive fossils, before passing through cedar forests hosting the playful Barbary macaque monkeys. The tour concludes with a picturesque drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains, arriving at the historic city of Fez where guests are conveniently escorted to their respective hotels.

Itinerary

• Departure Pick-up at your accomodation in Marrakesh

• Day 1: High Atlas Mountains including the Tizi n'Tichka pass, ksar of Aït-ben-Haddou, Valley of Roses

• Day 2: Sahara Desert with Todra Gorges, camel ride to camp (1.5h/2h)

• Day 3: Camel ride back in the Erg Chebbi (1.5h/2h), Erfoud, Middle Atlas Mountains

• Arrival at your accommodation in Fez around 7 p.m.
