What to Expect

This boat trip will take you to some of the main highlights of the Arcachon Basin, and also specifically to the great Dune of Pilat! We will start from Arcachon, a charming seaside town known for its beautiful architecture and vibrant atmosphere. As we leave the harbour, we will head towards the picturesque village of Le Moulleau, for you to admire its iconic church and get a glimpse at its quaint ambience.

Next, we will approach the impressive Dune of Pilat, the tallest sand dune in Europe, where you will have the chance to marvel at the breathtaking views of the ocean and the surrounding forest. The trip will then continue to the Banc d'Arguin, a natural sandbank and bird sanctuary, ideal for some peaceful bird-watching. This part is perfect for nature lovers and offers a serene break in your tour.

Our last step will be Cap Ferret, a charming peninsula famous for its picturesque lighthouse and stunning beaches. The tour will finally come to an end as you return to Arcachon, having experienced some of the most beautiful and unique features of the Arcachon Basin. This trip is ideal for those wanting to explore this pretty region and see the stunning Dune of Pilat.

We meet at the port of Arcachon, 10 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find free car parks nearby.
