What to Expect

Embark on an unforgettable snowshoe trekking adventure on Mount Etna, where snow meets sea in a breathtaking landscape! This unique tour will lead you through some of the most beautiful trails of Etna, offering you a chance to witness the winter charm of the majestic Sicilian volcano.

Our journey begins with a trek along the scenic Sartorius craters or the spectacular 2002 eruption craters. As we hike through the snow-covered trails, the geological features of Etna will be highlighted, providing a fascinating contrast to the wintry surroundings. You will be mesmerised by the pristine snow against the backdrop of the azure sea, creating a picture-perfect setting.

Next, we will explore one of the most important lava flow caves on Etna, either the Grotta Corruccio or the Grotta dei Ladroni. These natural wonders will leave you in awe as you delve into the history and formation of these remarkable caves. Our tour is designed to be comfortable, functional, and above all, fun! The itinerary can be customised based on the group's interests and desires.
