What to Expect

Embark on an unforgettable hike on Mount Etna, ascending up to 3000 meters and exploring the stunning Valle del Bove. Start your adventure with a scenic ride on the Etna Cable Car, lifting you to an altitude of 2500 meters. From here, the real trekking begins as you follow a knowledgeable volcanological or alpine guide through landscapes marked by extinct craters, eruptive vents, and fascinating lava fractures.

As you climb higher, you will reach the impressive Barbagallo craters at 3000 meters. Here, take a moment to catch your breath and marvel at the summit craters of Europe's highest active volcano. Continuing your trek, you will descend past the 2002 eruptive lava fractures, where you can witness the dramatic aftermath of past eruptions.
