Begin your underwater adventure with our comprehensive PADI Scuba Diver course. This level is ideal for those planning to dive primarily with a guide. The course consists of three main parts: Theoretical, Pool, and Sea. It’s an intermediate step towards achieving the Open Water Diver certification if that is your ultimate goal. You will have the opportunity to do the theory online or on-site, making it convenient for all schedules.
At Glups Diving, we offer the possibility of doing the theory online. Once you have enrolled, you will receive an access code to start your theoretical training from home at your own pace. The theoretical part includes reading the digital manual, watching a DVD, and reviewing any doubts with your instructor. For the practical sessions, you will start with pool dives to get comfortable with the equipment and basic skills. This will be followed by sea dives in areas rich with fauna, offering a chance to explore vibrant underwater life.
The schedule of the course is flexible and depends on water conditions. Pool dives and initial trials take place in a controlled environment to ensure safety and comfort. Sea dives will be conducted at different spots, depending on the conditions. These locations are known for their diverse marine life, providing a wonderful first diving experience. This course is perfect for those who would like to gain an PADI Scuba Diver certification, valid internationally and up to 12 meters.

e-Learning:
If you choose the eLearning option, we will send you the access details to the online study programme which you will complete before the start date of your course. On the first day of your course, just come down to the dive centre and show us the confirmation slip you received from the eLearning platform to show us that you have successfully completed the theoretical part of the PADI Open Water Diver course. Then, you can move straight on to the practical part of your scuba diving experience.
On-site Theory Lecture:
If you choose the option to take the theoretical course on-site, you will learn all about scuba diving theory in a classroom setting at the dive centre with one of our instructors.
Practice Sessions:
In both cases, we will meet at the dive centre, at the agreed-upon time, check you in and have you fill out the necessary paperwork, including the PADI Medical Statement. When it gets to your first practical diving sessions in the pool, we will provide you with all the rental equipment you need. The exact schedule of your course is set individually, based on your progress with the theoretical part of the course and on how much time you have to spare during the following days. We will discuss this on your first day at the dive centre.
