Your journey begins with preparation and boarding the boat, followed by a briefing and the putting on of lifejackets. As we set off, spotting wildlife can be a game of patience and luck, but with a high success rate of sightings, you are in for a thrilling experience.

For an added thrill, there is an option to swim with dolphins. If the animals are behaving appropriately under local protection laws, we will facilitate a short swim or snorkel experience attached to the boat. We provide masks and snorkels for this unforgettable adventure filled with nature's wonders and memorable moments on the open sea!

The private RIB boat is equipped with comfortable seating and ensures a smooth ride even on the waves. How to Get There

We meet at the marina of Funchal, 10 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find paid car parks nearby.

• Swimming with dolphins is only possible if the animals are behaving in a certain manner as per local animal protection law. We are only allowed to enter the water if we spot Common Dolphins or Atlantic Spotted Dolphins

• The time in the water with dolphins will only be 1-2 minutes

• The price of €20 will only be charged on-site if it was possible to enter the water with the animals

• You can only pay with cash on-site
