What to Expect

Join us for an unforgettable scuba diving experience designed especially for beginners and those who haven't dived in a while. Our adventure takes place in the stunning waters of Madeira, providing a safe and exciting introduction to the underwater world. You will start with a brief orientation, learning the basics of scuba diving and safety procedures. Then, under the supervision of our experienced instructors, you will take a dive to a maximum depth of 8 meters in a small group of up to 4 people. This ensures you get personalized attention and feel comfortable throughout the dive.

We offer a range of services to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. Our package includes all necessary scuba diving equipment, so you do not need to worry about bringing anything. Our instructors are PADI certified and have extensive experience in guiding beginners. Special features of this activity include the opportunity to see a variety of marine life and explore unique underwater landscapes. This is a perfect activity for families, friends, or anyone looking to try scuba diving for the first time in a beautiful and safe environment.

Dive Area

Located in front of the Pestana Carlton Hotel in Madeira, the house reef boasts numerous canyons and caves for divers to explore, alongside a rich variety of fish species. It serves as a prime location for educational dives, offering opportunities to observe and learn about the marine life thriving in its waters. The exact diving spot is chosen depending on the sea and weather conditions and experience of the participants.

Programme

You will get a thorough briefing on safety instructions, procedures, and a theory lesson to acquaint yourself with the fundamentals of scuba diving. Then, we will head to the shore dive site where you will have the opportunity to explore the underwater world. The program starts with practice exercises in shallow water to get comfortable with the equipment at your own pace before gradually descending to encounter the mesmerizing marine life. During the activity, expect a total duration of 3 hours, including a diving time of 30 minutes with a maximum depth of 8 meters. The group size per instructor is limited to 4 people.
