What to Expect

With our snorkeling excursion in Saint-Leu, make one of your dreams come true by discovering the wildlife that inhabits Réunion's waters: dolphins, whales, turtles, seabirds... All in small groups of no more than 6 people. Two of our experienced instructors will be at your side every step of the way to offer you a smooth experience respectful of the animals. On our way to the open sea, we will take the time to chat over refreshments, so that you can learn more about these fascinating animals (reproduction, migration, feeding, social behaviour, etc.). Afterwards, you will go into the water, first to learn the best practices for avoiding disturbing the animals. Then comes the long-awaited moment when you can go in the water again among the sea creatures. This adventure is ideal for experienced snorkelers who are good swimmers and already familiar with snorkeling gear. Prepare for an unforgettable experience as you immerse yourself in the beauty of the ocean and meet its incredible inhabitants.

Snorkeling Site

This snorkeling adventure takes place in the Open Sea, offering an exhilarating adventure for proficient swimmers. Participants must be comfortable using snorkeling equipment to fully enjoy the vibrant marine life in its natural habitat. This thrilling experience not only showcases the beauty of the ocean but also emphasizes the importance of marine conservation.

How to Get There

• Meeting place: at the port of Saint-Leu, in front of the post office

• Meeting time: 5 minutes before the start of the activity

• Car parks nearby: within a 5 minute walk (free)

Additional Services

• On request: Accompanying passenger on the boat (for a surcharge of €60, to be arranged after booking)

Requirements

• Minimum age: 12 years

• Swimming ability

• Physical health

• If you wear prescription glasses, you need to be comfortable wearing contact lenses

• Prior experience with the use of snorkeling equipment is mandatory
