Details
Ski beginners between 6 and 14 years are at the right place in our kids ski lessons in Zermatt. The skiing career is still young and together with people of the same age, it is particularly easy to get into skiing.
The beginner-friendly slopes on Riffelberg are ideal for learning the basics of skiing quickly and safely. Thanks to playful exercises, the young skiers first learn the snowplough position, in which they master their first descents. Those who already feel confident can also attempt their first parallel turns. At the end of the course, all participants receive a book of the Swiss Snow League in which their personal progress is noted.
In small groups of a maximum of 8 participants, our professional instructors can give each child the attention they need and promote rapid learning progress. Every Friday, the young skiers have the opportunity to show what they have learned in a ski race with prize-giving.
Meeting Time & Pick up
For our kids ski lessons in Zermatt, we meet at the tourist office next to the train station. Please be on time because our children's train will leave shortly after.
You can pick up your children either at 3 pm at the Riffelberg train station or 45 minutes later in the village at the Zermatt train station.
Lunch Break
Our snow sports instructors are happy to look after your children during the lunch break. A delicious lunch with drinks in the Riffelhaus restaurant is included.
Ski pass
Kids until 9 years old don't need a ski pass for the lessons. Please be aware that you need a ski pass to bring your kid to the meeting point. You can buy the ski pass before the first lesson at the lift station.

- During our courses, we are always wearing a helmet (available for rent at one of the local sports shops).
A really nice ski instructor. He uses many criteria to help improve the children's technique.

My daughter had the time of her life! The instructors were absolutely amazing; supportive, professional, and truly dedicated. The international environment, with children from different nationalities and language backgrounds, makes it such a unique and enriching experience.
The location itself is simply stunning, and the food was excellent, with a varied menu that the children could choose from. Classes were always well-organized and started on time, and the improvement in my daughter’s skills was clearly visible.
I honestly can’t recommend this program enough. My daughter is already looking forward to coming back!

It's very helpful for children to learn to ski from experts. In my experience, professional ski lessons are well worth it. The Swiss ski school is among the very best.
