What to Expect

Embark on an exhilarating guided glacier tour in our Monster Truck, departing from Gullfoss! Begin your adventure at the majestic Gullfoss Waterfall, where our guides will welcome you and provide an overview of the tour. Then, board our custom-built Sleipnir Monster Truck, designed to tackle the glacier's rugged terrain. The truck comfortably seats up to 47 passengers and features large windows for stunning panoramic views.

As we head toward Langjökull Glacier and drive through the Icelandic Highlands, our expert guides will share insights into the region's geology and stories from Nordic Mythology. Once there, you'll be able to enjoy hot cocoa, tea, and "Kleinur" (Icelandic pastry) with glacier views, as well as tasting the freshest water directly from Langjökull. Finally, weather permitting, take the opportunity to sled down the slopes or enjoy a round of golf on top of the glacier.

We’ll conclude the tour back at Gullfoss, bringing the memorable experience to a close. This tour is perfect for those with a curious spirit, eager to learn more about glaciers and the surrounding myths.

How to Get There

Head to Road 35 and look for the upper parking area at Gullfoss Waterfall. There, you'll easily spot the "Gullfoss - Panorama Restaurant - Cafe - Shop." If you park in the lower area, don't worry—simply return to the main road and turn right to head uphill. The tour begins and ends at Gullfoss Waterfall. Our transfer bus is parked near the Sleipnir meeting point sign in the parking lot close to Gullfoss Cafe. In the winter, keep an eye out for the large red Monster Glacier Truck. Please make sure to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity.
