About the Activity

What to Expect

Explore Iceland's breathtaking South Coast during the day and chase the magical Northern Lights in the evening. Begin your adventure with a visit to the Sólheimajökull Glacier, an incredible glacial tongue extending from the Myrdalsjökull glacier. Here, you can admire the stunning ice formations and the vivid blue hues of the glacier itself. This glacier is a perfect introduction to Iceland's unique icy landscapes.

Next, we head to the iconic Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach adorned with lava rock columns and basalt formations. You will be amazed by the scenery and the massive cave below the soaring sea birds. The sight of the waves crashing against the black sands is truly unforgettable. From there, we make our way to Vík, Iceland's southernmost town, where you can go for a walk among the beautiful houses below the charming church on the hill.

Our journey continues with a stop at the powerful Skógafoss waterfall, where you can climb the stairs to one of Iceland's most scenic viewpoints, offering breathtaking views of glaciers, volcanoes, black sand beaches, and possibly some grazing sheep. Finally, we visit the stunning Seljalandsfoss, a 60-meter-high waterfall famous for its hidden pathway that leads you behind the cascading waters for a unique perspective. As evening falls, we will begin our Northern Lights Hunt. In this hunt we will be heading out to chase the magical auroras, a perfect way to finsih this exciting day. This tour is ideal for adventurers.
