To join this activity, you must have an Open Water Diver certification and be in good physical health. If you wear prescription glasses, you need to be comfortable wearing contact lenses.
The activity includes a certified PADI diving instructor, all necessary high-quality diving gear (wetsuit, mask, fins, octopus, weights), a scuba tank, and boat transportation to the dive sites. You will also have access to changing facilities and showers.
You should bring a swimsuit, a towel, a change of clothes, and beach footwear for the boat. Depending on the weather, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and warm clothes (especially in winter) are also recommended. You can bring an underwater camera if you have one.
The dives are conducted at depths ranging from 18 to 20 meters.

The activity Arctic Scuba Diving from Ballstad for Certified Divers by Lofoten Diving Ballstad is available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from August 3, 2026 through November 30, 2026. On each available day there are 3 start times between 9:00 and 13:00. Sessions last 3 hours and are offered as group activities. Prices range from NOK1,690.00 to NOK1,990.00 per person.
