What to Expect

Embark on a unique underwater exploration journey in Lofoten during this arctic scuba diving experience from Ballstad for beginners. The initial dive takes you to a maximum depth of 6 meters, where you can relax and enjoy the enchanting arctic flora and fauna.

The dive sites in Lofoten offer an unparalleled opportunity to witness the vibrant marine life of the Arctic. You will have the chance to swim through spectacular kelp forests and fields of algae, observing magnificent creatures such as jellyfish, urchins, and starfish. Keep an eye out for larger fish species like halibut, cod, and wolfish that inhabit these waters. With 27 different dive spots to choose from, each offering its own unique underwater landscape, you will have plenty of options to explore.

Dive into the mesmerizing underwater world of Ballstad & Lofoten, where a vibrant ecosystem teems with marine life. You will encounter stunning kelp forests, colorful anemones, and playful seals. A key fact about this location is its crystal-clear waters, offering excellent visibility for divers. Another highlight is the dramatic underwater topography, shaped by ancient glaciers. The exact diving spot is chosen depending on the sea and weather conditions and experience of the participants.

Requirements

• Swimming ability

• Physical health

• If you wear prescription glasses, you need to be comfortable wearing contact lenses

Bring Along

• Beach footwear for on the boat

• Warm clothes, especially duirng winter

Good to Know

• Not suitable for toddlers, pregnant women and the elderly

• You are allowed to bring your own drinks and snacks

• Not recommended for people who suffer from any back problems, or had any back operations

• Diving spot can change based on weather conditions

• We do not have prescription masks available

• Maximum group size is 20 people
