Upon arrival, you will begin a 30-minute walk on foot to reach the glacier face, where you will be fitted with crampons and receive a safety briefing from expert guides. This introductory session is crucial for ensuring your safety as you navigate the icy terrain.

Once equipped, you will embark on a thrilling Sólheimajökull Glacier hike lasting approximately an hour. During this time, you will explore the glacier’s intriguing ice formations and possibly witness the breathtaking natural light that filters through the ice caves. The hike is designed for adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts with a moderate level of fitness. After the hike, you will return to the parking area on foot, where your journey concludes with a stop at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall.
