Explore the unique hand sculpted sculptures in the Ice Hotel on our half day snowmobile adventure from Kiruna with complimentary local snack and hot drinks. Should you choose to see the world-famous ICEHOTEL or experience what it is like driving a snowmobile in the Arctic? We say do both! The best way to get to ICEHOTEL is through the forest and over the Torne River (where the ice you will look at is from!). And while you are taking in the impressive rooms and sculptures, your guide will be preparing a warm fire and a light snack to be ready for you when heading back!
Your adventure begins with a briefing session where you will receive instructions on how to drive the snowmobiles. Equipped with a helmet, warm overalls, and boots, you will set off through the pristine Arctic forests, feeling the thrill of the ride. As you traverse the snow-covered landscapes, you will marvel at the unspoiled beauty of the Arctic wilderness. The tour covers a driving distance of 20-30 km, perfect for those looking for a moderate level of difficulty and fitness. Upon reaching the ICEHOTEL, you will have the chance to explore the intricately hand sculpted ice rooms and take in the artistic creations that change each year. On your return, enjoy a traditional Swedish Fika by the fire, savoring the local flavors and warming up with a hot drink. This offer is ideal for families, adventure seekers, and nature enthusiasts.
