Glide along the icy trails of the Torne River on our unique snowmobile tour from Kiruna, with a complimentary traditional firepit lunch. Nestled in the heart of Swedish Lapland, Kiruna offers a stunning landscape of snow-covered forests and the serene beauty of the Torne River. The tour begins with a thorough briefing from our expert guide on how to drive the snowmobiles, ensuring everyone feels confident before setting off. Participants will don helmets, warm overalls, and sturdy boots to stay protected and comfortable throughout the ride.

The adventure kicks off as you navigate the pristine snowmobiling trails, weaving through the tranquil winter wonderland. The experience of riding through the stunning landscapes under the elusive winter sunlight offers a sense of freedom and connection with nature. Midway through the tour, you will gather around a toasty fire in a “kåta”, a traditional Sámi tent, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch of salmon soup and grilled bread, with vegetarian options available. How to Get There

• Meeting place: at our office in Kiruna

• Meeting time: 25 minutes before departure

• If you wish to make use of our pickup service, please contact us after completing the booking. This incurs an extra charge of 100 SEK per person and needs to be paid on site by card.

Requirements

• Driver's licence

• Minimum age to drive: 18

• Minimum age to ride in the back: 13 years old

• Minimum age to participate: 3

• Warm layered clothing including a hat, scarf, and thermal socks

Good to Know

• Mobile phones are allowed on the snowmobile (at your own risk)

• Please note that children under 13 sit in a sled pulled by the guide, an adult is required to sit with any children under the age of 5 in the sled

• The snowmobile driver can be switched half-way during the tour, on the condition that both have a valid driver's license

• If you have any dietary requirements, please inform us beforehand so we can accommodate your needs

• Maximum of 8 participants per guide, for a total maximum of 24 people
