Discover Sweden's highest mountain station of Låktatjåkko on our thrilling half-day snowmobile adventure with complimentary hot drinks and waffles. Nestled in the heart of the Scandinavian mountains, the station offers a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding peaks, including the legendary gateway to Lapland, Čuonjávággi, and the expansive lake Torneträsk. Located in the picturesque village of Björkliden, this tour promises an unforgettable experience for adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts alike.

The adventure begins with a brief introduction to the snowmobiles, allowing you to familiarize yourself and even take a small test round before we head out. Almost immediately, we embark on a climb, reaching the plateau Rakkaslahku, where you will be greeted by sweeping views in all directions, creating a sense of awe and wonder. After indulging in a delicious waffle and a hot drink at the mountain station, the journey continues with an exploration of the surrounding mountains. There is an opportunity to descend into the breathtaking wolf pass before making your way back to Björkliden. With speeds of up to 70 km/hour under the supervision of an experienced guide, the thrill of navigating these pristine landscapes is unmatched. How to Get There

• Meeting time: 30 minutes before departure

• Pick up: if you wish to make use of our pickup service, please contact us after completing the booking. Available from Abisko or Björkliden only

• If you do not want to make use of our pick-up service, you can meet us at our office in Abisko

• Minimum age to ride in the back: 7 years old

• Not suitable for toddlers, pregnant women and the elderly

• Not suitable for people with bad heart conditions

• Not recommended for people who suffer from any back problems, or had any back operations

• Mobile phones are allowed on the snowmobile (at your own risk)

• It is only possible to rent 8 snowmobiles at a time

• Participants can take turns driving the snowmobile, as long as they have a valid licence
