Join us for an exhilarating full-day snowmobile adventure to the Abisko National Park and enjoy a complimentary local soup lunch as we glide down the icy trails. Explore the breathtaking landscapes between Björkliden and Riksgränsen, tracing the Norwegian border, and venturing back through the scenic valley of Abisko National Park. The day begins with an immersive introduction to snowmobiling in the area. Equipped with everything you need for spending a day outside, you will be introduced to your snowmobile by our certified guides. With their expertise leading the way, you will feel confident as you navigate the snowy terrain.
The first part of the tour leads through frozen lake Torneträsk, the biggest mountain lake in Scandinavia. On our way to Riksgränsen and to the Norwegian border, we make several stops for pictures and local stories. We continue further through varied terrain up to the Sjangeli copper mine. Being surrounded by breathtaking views, it is time for a warm lunch! On the way back, we follow the famous King’s Trail. In the birch forest landscape, we have a chance to observe different animals that live in Abisko National Park. Traditionally in Sami culture, there are eight seasons, and the return of the sun announces the spring-winter. During this special time, days become longer, whereas visitors can still enjoy full winter conditions. This offer is ideal for families, adventure seekers, and nature enthusiasts.
