Bas du Fort Marina, Pointe-à-Pitre – Dinghy pontoon next to the Harbour Master's Office.
Let yourself be lulled by the gentle sound of the waves during this unforgettable sea excursion aboard a Route du Rhum racing trimaran to the island of Marie-Galante! The spirit of the day is all about disconnecting: sailing, thrills, swimming, and pure relaxation. Upon arrival, you will meet David, your skipper, who will guide you on this incredible racing trimaran adventure to Marie-Galante in Guadeloupe. You'll have the opportunity to take part in the sailing maneuvers under the guidance of your experienced skipper and experience speeds of up to 20 knots while helping to hoist the sails. You'll stop to enjoy a swim in the crystal-clear waters of Marie-Galante, a setting worthy of a postcard. If you're lucky, you may spot whales during the season from January to May, or even dolphins, which can be seen all year round! Enjoy sharing the waters with these magnificent marine mammals aboard your trimaran in the exceptional surroundings of Guadeloupe and experience a truly unforgettable moment.
Depending on the option you choose, you'll enjoy either a beach picnic or a restaurant lunch in an idyllic setting, with your feet in the sand and local specialties on the menu. Listen to David's advice and techniques as he teaches you how to handle an impressive boat that has competed in several transatlantic races, including the latest Route du Rhum. Departure is scheduled for 8:30 a.m., with return to the marina around 5:30 p.m. The excursion is limited to a maximum of 8 participants.
The main requirement for joining this trimaran adventure is to be fully mobile, as moving around the boat during tacks is essential. Comfort is simple and authentic, just like on a real racing yacht: there are no toilets—a bucket toilet serves as a backup solution (yes, it's all part of the adventure), no benches, just mats and trampolines where you can relax... or even take a nap above the water. Return home with unforgettable memories of Guadeloupe, and don't forget your camera to capture these incredible views! Sail to Marie-Galante aboard a genuine racing trimaran and discover breathtaking Caribbean scenery!
