What to Expect

Take on a unique adventure on our bus tour from Saariselka with Ice fishing, reindeers and a complimentary local lunch. Warm thermal clothing and shoes await you at our basecamp in Ivalo, where you will be prepared for the day ahead. A short drive brings you to the charming village of Koppelo, where the real adventure begins.

At Koppelo, you'll find snowmobiles and sledges ready to whisk you away to a secret fishing spot on Lake Inari. The sleigh ride offers a unique opportunity to take in the serene, snow-covered landscapes of Lapland. Upon arrival, an experienced local guide will provide instructions for Ice Fishing, and you'll have your own fishing rod to try your luck. Whether using a worm or maggot, the genuine Lappish style of fishing is a must-try experience.

After fishing, we journey to our small island home, where you can meet two friendly reindeers. A warm, traditional lunch of local reindeer meat or fish is served in a cozy Lappish teepee by an open fire, accompanied by hot drinks.
