Glide along the frozen wonderland of the Ivalo river and Lake Inari in our Snowmobile tour with reindeers and complimentary local lunch. This beginner-friendly snowmobile safari offers you a chance to experience the thrill of driving on a carefully designed track that matches your skill level. After being warmly dressed at our office in Ivalo, an experienced guide will provide instructions on how to handle the snowmobile before heading out on a 25-30 km trail. This adventure is tailored for families, adventure seekers, and nature enthusiasts looking to dive into the beauty of Lapland.

The tour takes you to the charming island home of Tina and Tapio, where you will meet their friendly reindeers, Rambo and David. Here, you will have the opportunity to feed and photograph these majestic creatures while learning about reindeer and life in Lapland from your guide. A highlight of the day is a traditional Lappish lunch enjoyed by a campfire in a warm "teepee", featuring local fish or reindeer. After soaking in the beautiful surroundings and savoring hot drinks, the tour concludes with a return to Ivalo. This unforgettable experience is ideal for those looking to immerse themselves in the unique culture and stunning landscapes of Lapland. • Driver's licence

• Minimum age to drive: 18

• Minimum age to ride in the back: 10 years old

• Minimum height to ride on the back: 140 cm

• Minimum of 2 participants are required for this activity to go through

Good to Know

• You are allowed to bring your own drinks and snacks

• Not suitable for toddlers, pregnant women and the elderly

• Mobile phones are allowed on the snowmobile (at your own risk)

• Children over 140cm in height are allowed to sit on the back of the snowmobile behind an adult, so long as they pay the adult price

• All children under 140cm will travel in a sleigh pulled by snowmobile

• It is also possible to book only the sleigh ride if you don’t want to drive or travel as a passenger. The sleigh is covered with warm reindeer hides, making it a very relaxing way to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

• In the event of an accident, the maximum self-liability is €750 per snowmobile.If the cost of the damage is less than €750, you will only be required to pay the actual amount.
