Refurbished for tourist adventures, the Icebreaker Arktis arrived in Kemi in December 2023. Step aboard for a thrilling cruise where you can float in icy waters and walk on the frozen sea. Relax in warm lounges spread across two floors or visit the modern café. Built in 1980.

As the icebreaker powers through the ice, you will have the extraordinary opportunity to participate in the ice floating experience. How to Get There

We meet at the snowcastle of Kemi, 60 minutes before departure.

After completed booking, you will receive a document with the specific pick-up times for the chosen location. Please note that the pick-up times will be a lot earlier than the starting time of the boat trip.

• If bad weather forces the provider to cancel the activity, you’ll receive a full refund or have the option to reschedule

• The shuttle bus also makes a stop in the SnowCastle area of Kemi, so we also recommend booking additional paid services, such as a lunch buffet in Lumihiutale restaurant (€24 for adults, €15 for children) and entrance to the SnowCastle Winter Park.

• Please note that if you choose to take advantage of our pick up service the meeting time will be a few hours before the start of the activity, so free up the full day for the activity.
