What to Expect

Welcome aboard with the Escale Sétoise. Join us for our Boat Tour in the Peninsula of Sète for a unique, environmentally-friendly maritime tour of Sète on our 100% electric, French-made boat. Our journey begins at the Théâtre de la Mer, an open-air theatre that plays a vital role in the city's cultural scene. Next, we head to the Phare Saint Louis, a historic lighthouse marking the entrance to the channel since 1680. As we continue, we pass by the Port de Commerce, a significant commercial hub and gateway to Europe. The tour also includes a visit to the Bassin du Midi, an extension of the pleasure port, offering picturesque views of the marina.

We then navigate to the Étang de Thau, the largest and deepest lagoon in the region, known for its ecological diversity and thriving shellfish industry. The trip also highlights La Pointe Courte, a quaint fishing neighborhood, often described as a village within the city. Onward, the tour showcases the Ancienne Chambre de Commerce, a striking building from 1872. Finally, we meander through the canals of Sète, affectionately called the "Venice of Languedoc", offering a unique perspective on the city's waterways.

We meet in front of our boat in Sète, 10 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find paid parking nearby.
