Nice, but Mount Athos could only be seen from afar (just its outline). At least a closer look would have been a good idea. When I bought the ticket, Athos was listed among the things to admire from afar (but the boat didn't stop, and they didn't explain anything). It included audio in other languages, but it wasn't necessary because there wasn't even an explanation.
Not a bad trip, but nothing special. After visiting Orange Beach yesterday, I expected much more beautiful scenery.I didn't like Ammouliani at all, in the village there is no typical market but a series of shops for food and souvenirs.
A boat trip is a must-do and a welcome change of pace during your beach holiday. Enjoy a leisurely round trip with stunning sea views of the Athos and Sithonia peninsulas. The trip includes an island stop, a beach stop with complimentary sun loungers, a light lunch, and a glass of wine. The friendly Athos Reisen team will make you want to return.
