We meet at our boat, on pontoon A in the marina of Bloscon (Port de Plaisance du Bloscon, 29680, Roscoff)
Spot marine species and explore maritime heritage with binoculars
Learn navigation skills and about the bay's marine wildlife
Explore oyster beds and sample fresh seaweed at low tide
Join us for a RIB boat trip in the bay of Morlaix, departing from Roscoff. Set off on an adventure and enjoy the conviviality of the ‘Vagabond’ RIB to discover Morlaix Bay as close to the coast as possible! Our 12-seater RIB, equipped with two 250 horsepower engines, will quickly take you to interesting sites and give you a thrill. Thanks to its shallow draught, you can get up close to the islets and marine species. Binoculars and sea clothing are available for each passenger to enjoy the excursion in comfort and get the best view of the marine fauna and maritime heritage. We will head near the Caillot and Louët islets, where you can admire pristine marine landscapes, observe local wildlife, and enjoy a unique view of Château du Taureau and the Bay of Morlaix.
Your guide will share their knowledge of marine wildlife and the history of the bay. They will also teach you some basic navigation skills. Nothing is guaranteed, but it is not uncommon to encounter seals on their perches. If you are lucky enough to take the excursion at low tide, you will also discover the immensity of the bay's oyster beds. To wrap up, we'll inspect the traps to understand the fundamentals of this fishing method and find out if we've caught any crabs or lobsters. And for the curious ones, there’s a chance to sample some fresh seaweed.
