We meet at our base (Zone artisanale, Route de Grasse - 04120 Castellane)
Join our discovering packrafting on Lake Castillon combined with an E-Mountain bike ride and a hike! Experience the thrill of navigating the turquoise waters of Lake Castillon with a packraft, an ultralight inflatable boat born in Alaska. It is a unique way to explore the sublime sites of the Verdon Regional Park, known for its breathtaking lakes and gorges. If you are passionate about adventure and nature, and you are looking for something different, this activity is for you!
Your day begins at our base in Castellane with a warm welcome, a cup of coffee, and a brief introduction to the team and the day's programme. You will get acquainted with the equipment, including your electric mountain bike and packraft, before setting off on the Lakes circuit. The first stop is at the Hameau de Ville, where you can enjoy a sublime view over the valley. From here, you will descend to Lake Castillon and then climb to the Hameau de Blaron. After leaving your bike, you will continue on foot for a 20/30-minute hike with the packrafts on your back.
Once at the lake, you will launch into its shimmering waters and enjoy a picnic on the beach at Blaron or in one of the many coves along the lake. Take time to explore the history of the sunken village, swim, and relax in this immersive experience that lets you discover the Verdon's sublime landscapes in the coolest way. After approximately 2.5 hours of exploring, you will need to reserve some energy for the return hike to the hamlet, which takes about 30/40 minutes. The day concludes with a return to the base by bike, marking the end of a wonderful and sporty day.
