About the Activity

What to Expect

Give your children the chance to improve their skiing skills in Serre Chevalier! These lessons are designed for children aged 5 to 12, suitable for all abilities – whether they are trying skis for the first time or already confident on the slopes. At the start of the week, youngsters are placed in groups according to their level, allowing them to learn and progress alongside peers of similar experience.

Under the guidance of our enthusiastic instructors, children flourish in a safe and encouraging setting. Beginners quickly get comfortable with their equipment and learn to make turns on gentle slopes, while more experienced skiers can refine their parallel technique and explore slightly steeper runs.

Serre Chevalier’s varied ski terrain offers the perfect environment for young skiers at every stage, supporting steady improvement. Groups are kept to a maximum of 6 children, ensuring individual attention and tailored advice throughout the course.

Meeting Time

We meet on the snow front of pré-chabert in Le Mônetier-les-Bains, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• Weekend lessons take place on Friday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, on Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and on Sunday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
