About the Activity

What to Expect

Set against the stunning alpine landscapes of Serre Chevalier, our Pro-Rider ski lessons are aimed at skilled young skiers aged 12 to 17 who are keen to challenge themselves. Participants should already feel confident on all types of slopes, including black runs, and be ready to explore freeride and off-piste terrain (equivalent to the French Ski d’Or level).

The lessons begin on marked pistes, focusing on refining freeride techniques and adapting to varying snow conditions. With groups limited to a maximum of 6 skiers, each participant benefits from personalised guidance and feedback from our expert instructors. This initial stage is essential for developing the skills needed to tackle more demanding terrain and improve overall skiing ability.

As the course advances, skiers will explore more challenging slopes and off-piste areas, practising control, precision, and safety in a variety of situations. By the end of the week, each participant will have enhanced both their technical skills and confidence. They will be ready to ski independently, enjoy the mountain to the fullest, and take their abilities to the next level, armed with new techniques and a deeper passion for the sport.

Meeting Time

We meet on the snow front of pré-chabert in Le Mônetier-les-Bains, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 12 years

• Minimum level: 12 weeks of skiing experience and ability to ski on black slopes

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson
