What to Expect
Give your children the chance to grow their skills and passion for skiing in La Plagne! Our courses welcome youngsters aged 3 to 12 and are designed for every level, from complete beginners to confident skiers. At the start of the week, children are placed into groups that match their ability, so they can progress alongside others at the same stage.
Under the guidance of experienced instructors, kids learn in a safe and encouraging atmosphere. Beginners will get comfortable with their equipment and take their first turns on gentle slopes, while more advanced skiers can focus on improving parallel skiing and tackling steeper runs.
La Plagne’s extensive ski area offers the perfect terrain for all abilities, making it an ideal setting for young skiers to advance at their own pace. With groups limited to a maximum of 8 participants, every child benefits from close supervision and personalized feedback throughout the lessons.
Meeting Time
We meet at the foot of the main chairlifts in Plagne Centre, next to the Le Croq' Neige restaurant, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.
Pick-up
Free minibus service: we offer a private minibus service to take you to the meeting point, completely free of charge. to use this service, call us when you arrive at the resort, and the bus will pick you up at the stop closest to your accommodation.
Ski Pass
All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

What should I wear for my lessons?
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
When should I collect my equipment?
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Where can I buy a ski pass?
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Do I need to book my lessons in advance?
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
How big are the groups?
The groups are limited to a maximum of 8 participants, ensuring that every child receives personalized feedback.
Is lunch included?
Lunch is not included. It can be booked for an additional fee of 175€ for 5 days or 210€ for 6 days. Please contact the provider directly to add this option.
Is a pick-up service available?
A free minibus service is offered to take you to the meeting point. To use this service, you need to call the provider upon arrival at the resort to arrange a pick-up from the stop closest to your accommodation.

The activity Kids Ski Lessons (3-12 y.) - Plagne Centre by Ski School Oxyski La Plagne Centre is available on Monday and Sunday, from December 13, 2026 through April 19, 2027.
