What to Expect

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the French Alps, Les Menuires offers an exceptional environment for our Pro-Rider ski lessons. Designed for confident young skiers aged 5 to 13, these small-group sessions (maximum 8 participants) provide focused guidance from our expert instructors. Please note that your child should already be a competent skier on all types of slopes – including black runs – and at least at the French Ski d’Or level. Lessons begin on the resort’s well-groomed pistes, introducing skiers to the fundamentals of freeride and off-piste skiing while learning to handle varied snow conditions with control and precision.

As the week progresses, participants explore more challenging terrain, refining their technique and gaining confidence on steeper slopes. Our instructors will focus on teaching advanced skills such as carving and edge control, essential for navigating more demanding sections of the mountain. By the end of the course, your child will be ready to enjoy the mountain with skill, independence, and enthusiasm. With its stunning alpine scenery, Les Menuires provides the ideal setting for these advanced ski lessons, allowing young skiers to challenge themselves and reach new heights.

Meeting Time

We meet in front of the Oxygènes flags, next to the Igloo restaurant, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 5 years

• Minimum level: 12 weeks of skiing experience and ability to ski on black slopes

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet
