Sail along Alghero's Coral Riviera with our day trip, where you will enjoy lunch with delicious local specialties on board. Depending on the weather and sea conditions we will navigate either north or west of Alghero. You will be carried away by the waves and the soothing sound of the sea as you explore secret caves and hidden coves. The views of the cliffs and sandy beaches will captivate you, giving you moments of contemplation and serenity.
If we follow the west itinerary, our first stop will be Capo del Rosso for a refreshing swimming break. We will then move to Cala del Lazzaretto and Capo Galero for another swimming stop. The journey continues to Punta Giglio and Portoconte Bay, where we will have a leisurely lunch stop in the marine protected area within the park. After lunch, we will visit Cala Dragunara, Calle del Bollo, and head up to Capo Caccia if sea conditions permit. On the other hand, the southern itinerary includes longer navigation and a visit to Cala Burantino with the possibility of a few hours' stop on the beach. We will then visit Poglina Island, Cala Griecas for a lunch stop, followed by Zona delle Croci and Cala dell'Alga.
Our sailboat, named Cetacea, is 13 meters long and equipped with all comforts, including an inflatable SUP board, a tender, and a 4-meter inflatable island. During the swimming and snorkeling stops, you can use the SUP board or enjoy a short shore excursion with the motor tender driven by a crew member. This tour is ideal for those who want to explore this part of Sardinia authentically in a familiar and relaxed environment.
We meet at the Port of Alghero, 15 minutes before departure. If you come by car, you will find free parking nearby.

We had a great time, but with two big regrets: 1. I chose the sailing boat over cheaper motorboat versions but in the end the sails were not used. The captain explained that it would take too much time to zig zag. Ok. I understand but still I had thought they would be used. 2. The boat was fully booked (our original date been changed to this date probably so the could get a full boat even if the it said during booking time that the required minimum was two persons) and because we were fully booked my group which was four P had to have the lunch below deck. We did NOT enjoy that. I tried to ask if we could eat after the others and on open air but were told we could not. Very disappointing.
I would recommend it because Sergio, the skipper and his family are fantastic people, helpful, kind and above all nice. The tour itself was very beautiful, we stopped several times to dive into the wonderful water of the Riviera del Corallo and we had lunch with amazing Gnocchetti Sardi prepared on the boat at the moment. In summary, I really hope that other people can spend an equally beautiful day in the company of friendly people and good company, in a breathtaking sea.
