What to Expect

Give your children the opportunity to improve their skiing in La Rosière! These lessons are open to children aged 5 to 12 from the Polar Bear level upwards. At the beginning of the week, children are grouped according to their skill level so they can progress alongside others with similar experience.

With the guidance of our enthusiastic instructors, children develop both confidence and technique in a supportive environment. Beginners learn to climb using the duck walk and side steps, make controlled snowplough turns, and feel comfortable using the chairlift independently, while more advanced skiers can refine their parallel turns and handle steeper slopes more easily.

The varied slopes of La Rosière offer the ideal playground for every young skier to make steady progress. Groups are limited to a maximum of 6 children, ensuring personalised coaching and plenty of individual attention throughout the week.

Meeting Time

We meet at the foot of the blue Oxygène flags and banners, near the terrace of the “Le Flocon” restaurant and the chairlift ticket office, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 5 years

• Minimum Level: 1 week of skiing experience and ability to side-step, get back up independently, perform a snowplough stop, and use both the magic carpet and the drag lift (Polar Bear level or equivalent)

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet
