What to Expect

Our private snowboard lessons in Megève are open to both children from 8 years old and adults, making them ideal for individuals or families who want to progress together. Each session is fully adapted to your level and goals, whether you are stepping onto a snowboard for the first time or already confident on the slopes. With the full attention of an experienced instructor, you will benefit from personalised guidance and steady progress at your own pace.

Beginners start by learning the fundamentals, balance, gliding, and controlling their speed, while gradually building confidence on gentle terrain. As they improve, they begin to link smooth turns and gain greater control over their board. More experienced riders focus on refining technique, mastering edge precision, and improving fluidity on steeper and more varied slopes.

Lessons can also be booked as a small private group of up to 6 participants, allowing friends or family members of a similar level to ride together. This setup combines the fun of snowboarding with the benefits of tailored instruction, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding learning experience in Megève’s alpine setting.

Meeting Time

We meet at the blue Oxygène flags, located between the Mont d’Arbois cable car and the PT Vorasset drag lift, where our children’s area is situated, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure you have a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, as long as everyone has a similar skill level

• The maximum group size is 6 participants per group
