What to Expect

These ski lessons for teenagers aged 13 and above and adults offer the perfect opportunity to discover skiing for yourself! You will find the right rhythm in no time with like-minded peers. Our experienced ski instructors cater to individual needs in small groups of 4 to 8 people, providing both confidence and security. At the Oberwiesenthal, beginners will learn the basics of skiing with the aim of mastering blue slopes effortlessly. Initially, participants will get familiar with their equipment, which is essential for safety and effectiveness on the slopes.

Participants will then engage in gliding and stopping exercises, which form the foundation of skiing skills. These exercises are crucial for gaining control and building confidence on the snow. With the help of our instructors, you will practice your first turns through fun activities designed to make learning enjoyable and fast. Oberwiesenthal offers ideal ski and snow conditions for beginners, with slopes that are perfect for building skills progressively.

Meeting Time

We meet at the "Starthaus" directly at the main ski slope just below the ice skating rink, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson. If you booked with ski rental, please pick up your equipment at the rental shop an hour before the start of the lesson.

Equipment Rental

If you need rental equipment, please add it to your shopping cart during the checkout process when booking.

The equipment you booked can be conveniently collected at the ski rental shop. We recommend that you pick up your equipment at our rental shop from 4 p.m. on the day before.

Ski Pass

First-timers do not need a ski pass for the first day of the lessons. The instructor will advise you when to buy the ski pass.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure you have skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• If the minimum number of 4 participants is not reached, the course time will be shortened.
