What to Expect

Our private kids snowboarding lessons provide a fantastic opportunity for children aged 4 to 16 to discover the thrill of the board or elevate their snowboarding skills in the heart of Jasná. Set against the backdrop of the spectacular Low Tatras Mountains, the resort boasts a diverse array of slopes and modern facilities, making it an ideal location for both beginners and more experienced snowboarders. Jasná is renowned for its well-maintained pistes, offering a dynamic environment where children can gain confidence and hone their skills on the board.

For beginners, the lessons start with an introduction to their equipment, ensuring they feel comfortable with their boots and bindings before heading onto the slopes. They will learn the basics of snowboarding, including balance, side-slipping, and making their first linked turns—a crucial step in building their confidence. More advanced riders will work on refining their technique, improving their edge control, and tackling steeper slopes. The skilled instructors tailor the program to each child's individual skills and needs, ensuring a personalised learning experience.

Children can choose between one-on-one lessons or join with a second child, friend, or family member of a similar level. This flexibility makes learning not only more efficient but also more enjoyable. For those at a very advanced level, there is even the opportunity to explore the snow park or go off-piste with their instructor, adding an element of adventure. These private lessons are the most efficient way to make quick and long-lasting progress, giving children the skills they need to enjoy the slopes safely and confidently.

Meeting Time

We meet at our meeting point at the Grand Jet Cableway, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All participants need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Parents do not need a ski pass to take their kid to the meeting point.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 4 years

• Experience is not required

Bring Along

• Ski pass

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Gloves

• Goggles

• Snowboard equipment and helmet

Good to Know

• Please make sure your kid has a snowboard, snowboard boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• Depending on your skill level and the conditions, you will also have the option to go off-piste with your instructor during the private lesson.

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, as long as everyone has a similar skill level

• The maximum group size is 2 participants per group

• It is also possible to book night snowboarding lessons, for a more unique experience.
