What to Expect

Our private ski lessons in Roccaraso are tailored for children aged 9 to 13, offering a fun and supportive environment where they can learn at their own pace. Designed for all levels, from beginners to more advanced skiers, these lessons help young athletes build both skills and confidence with personalized guidance. Whether it’s their first time on skis or a chance to refine their technique, every lesson promises an exciting and memorable day on the slopes.

Located in the heart of the Apennines, the Roccaraso ski area provides a beautiful alpine setting and excellent facilities for children. Beginner-friendly slopes, dedicated learning areas, and magic carpets help young skiers feel comfortable as they take their first steps and progress safely. Each lesson begins with a short introduction to the equipment, ensuring every child is ready and confident before heading onto the slopes.

During the lesson, children are guided by professional ski instructors who use playful exercises and progressive challenges to support learning. Beginners focus on balance, stopping, and basic turns, while more experienced young skiers work on smoother turns and better control. Lessons take place in small groups, allowing instructors to give close attention to each child and create a positive, encouraging atmosphere where confidence and a love for skiing can grow.

Meeting Time

We meet at the Pizzalto gondola station, 10 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

In order to not lose time at the beginning of your lesson, please buy your ski pass in advance.

Good to Know

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• The whole family can join the private lessons together, as long as everyone has a similar skill level

• The maximum group size is 5 participants per group
