What to Expect

Take your skiing to the next level with our adult group ski lessons for ages 12 and above, where small groups, expert instructors, and level-based coaching create the perfect learning environment for every skier. Nestled in the picturesque Bavarian Alps, Mittenwald offers a charming winter wonderland with its snow-capped mountains and pristine slopes. At Staubi's Skischool Mittenwald, you will find everything you need to enhance your skiing skills, from beginner-friendly trails to more challenging runs.

Upon arrival, you will meet our team of experienced instructors who will assess your current skill level and group you with other skiers of similar ability, ensuring a personalized learning experience. The lesson begins with a focus on the basics, such as understanding your equipment and learning the fundamentals of balance and posture. These initial skills are crucial, as they lay the groundwork for more advanced techniques. As you progress, you will practice turning techniques on gentle slopes, which are essential for controlling your speed and direction.

For more advanced skiers, the lesson will cover parallel skiing and techniques to tackle steeper slopes with confidence. You will also work on refining your technique through a series of exercises designed to enhance your agility and control. The small group size of 5-8 participants allows for personalized feedback and guidance, ensuring you make significant progress. As you navigate the stunning scenery and diverse slopes of Mittenwald, you will gain not only skills but also unforgettable memories.

Meeting Time

We meet at the Bergbahnen Oberperfuss Rangger Köpfl valley station, 30 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Ski Pass

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 12 years

• Experience is not required

Bring Along

• Warm outdoor clothing; layers are recommended

• Goggles

• Ski equipment and helmet

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Please make sure you have skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels during the course if a participant's abilities improve quickly

• The maximum group size is 5-8 participants per group
