Kids Ski Lessons (4-12 y.) for First Timers - Salober-Schröcken

What to Expect

Give your child the perfect start on skis with our first timer ski lessons for children aged 4 to 12 in Salober-Schröcken. In a fun and supportive group environment, our professional ski instructors introduce children to the basics of skiing and help them build confidence on the snow. During the lessons, children gradually become familiar with their skis and learn how to move safely and confidently on the snow.

They start with the essential foundations of skiing, including balance, a stable skiing position, and gliding. Once the children feel comfortable on their skis, they progress to making their first turns and controlling their speed and direction. They practise changing direction, stopping safely, and linking their turns as they gain more confidence.

The 8,000 m² Salober Kids’ Area offers plenty of space for children to practise their new skills in a beginner-friendly environment. With suitable terrain for learning and practising, children can repeat exercises at their own pace and gradually put their newly acquired skiing skills into practice. A free safety vest is also provided to each child for better visibility during the lessons. On Thursdays, the lessons include an exciting Skidoorafting experience, adding an adventurous highlight to the week. The Friday finale gives children the chance to show how much they have progressed during a friendly ski race, followed by an award ceremony where they receive a medal for their achievements.

Meeting Time

We meet directly at the kids’ area, in front of the ski school, 15 minutes before the start of the lesson.

Lunch Care

If you book including supervision with lunch, our instructors will be happy to take care of your kids during the lunch break. A delicious meal is also included at the restaurant up in the mountain. Alternatively you can pick up your kid.

Ski Pass

Parents do not need a ski pass to take their kid to the meeting point.

All skiers need a ski pass from the first day of the lessons. You can buy your ski pass at the ski lift ticket office or online before the first lesson. There are discounted ski passes for young children.

Good to Know

• For the Christmas holidays & school holidays in February, we recommend you book early in advance due to high demand

• Ski equipment is not included in the price of the lesson

• Please make sure your kid has skis, ski boots, helmet, gloves & sunglasses or goggles at the start of the lesson

• During our courses we are always wearing a helmet

• It is possible to switch between different skill levels during the course if a participant's abilities improve quickly

• The maximum group size is 10 participants per group
