Ski Dome II Langwiedboden – Kitzsteinhorn Gletscher, next to the Intersport Oberschneider shop
You only learn the very basics. Unfortunately, that doesn't help you on the slopes. You really need to book a two-day private course where someone can explain what you're doing wrong right there on the slopes. Not recommended.
Had a great ski lesson. Nice and helpful ski instructor (Take) who explained well and gave us enough tips to improve our skiing skills.
Great teacher.
You should wear warm clothing suitable for winter sports. Other accessories such as gloves, a ski mask and sunglasses are strongly recommended.
You must arrive at the first lesson with your equipment (skis and poles or snowboard, and boots). If you do not have your own equipment, make sure to allow enough time to collect it from the rental shop so as not to delay the start of the lesson. Some shops even offer the option of collecting equipment the day before your first day of hire.
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for children in some countries, but it is strongly recommended for everyone, regardless of age.
Unless otherwise stated, you must have your ski pass with you for the first lesson. You can usually buy one at the ski lift office or online. Discounted rates may be available for children or beginners, so check with your ski school to find out which pass is most suitable.
Generally, it is advisable to book lessons as early as possible. This is especially important during school holidays, such as Christmas and February, when lessons can fill up quickly.
The lessons are for adult beginners who want to learn how to ski.
You will learn the basics of skiing, including how to use the snowplough, stop safely, and make your first turns on blue slopes. The learning process is supported by innovative training methods and video-analysis.
You should be at the meeting point 30 minutes before the start of the course.
If there are fewer than 5 participants, the lessons will be shortened to a half-day course.
Yes, you need a ski school ticket, which you must show at the meeting point. You can pick it up from the ski school office up to 1 hour before your lesson begins.
